So I have realized there is a lot of hate for the mentally disabled at my school.  This shit, not okay.  I hear people using the word 'Retard' to describe those who may not have it as easy as them in the classroom.  I don't care what problems people may have, no one has the right to put others down.  I have plenty of friends who measure on the autistic scale, both online and even one in real life.  I myself suffer from dyslexia, yet I never let that stop me from writing and doing what I love.  The people that you pick on, when it comes down to the basics, are people.  I just want to say as someone who is friends with those who are unfortunately treated like animals, and as someone who is mentally disabled herself, you are being the biggest prick you can possibly be.  Hating on the disabled is just as bad as racism, sexism, ant-semitism, and homophobia.  Don't be an asshole.  Think about a world ruled by people with panic disorders, dyslexia, autism... think about a world where that's the normal and NOT having what our society calls a disability is in fact a disability.  Or a better example: think of a world where it is same-sex couples who are able to pro-create, and being a straight male or female is considered unholy and disgusting.  
I just want people to pause before judging others.  More than that, I want people to just see fucking people, and not a disability or a race or whatever.
